Seriously speaking, since I have fallen for the Arch meme I passed the day trying to understand from 0 how the heck can I install it, because of my lack of UNIX-like systems skills.
So I got how to install the base system, now I'm stuck at choosing the best WM and all the ricing and I literally have no idea on how to approach this. Any serious advice?

That's exactly what I tried, had no idea what the best terminal emulator was so I installed termite and didn't try to customize it because I didn't know how to do it.
i3 looks really great for coding, I'm guessing, but is it good on multimedia or other kinds of use?

Why? Most distributions come with gcc, a terminal emulator, and a text editor pre-installed. Why do you need to waste your time with a "hard-mode" distro when literally any other one will work fine?

What i did was look for a desktop i liked, use their wm, went to 4walled.cc and then themed around a wallpaper
Install antergos, i'ts "arch" for literal retards. Stay there until you actually learn something. Goodluck installing it though.
