So, I, uh, want a decent non-mechanical keyboard. I don't really want a gaymen keyboard with lights and all that bullshit, but a few meta keys and USB ports would be nice. Any recommendations, /g/? Are there any other normies out there?

i just bought a type heaven and im pretty excited for it to be delivered. got nothing against rubber dome and personally the thought of cherry mx blues clacking away all the time doesnt appeal to me.

I own one of these, didn't really like it because of the size, but that's mostly due to how small my desk is. If you have enough space for it it should be fine

I grew up with the old school mechanical keyboards. I don't really miss them, the whole desk fedora meme seems a bit silly to me. Keep fighting the good fight.

I just got one of these, but I can't personally review it as I haven't gotten a chance with it yet. I think it's quite sexy, though.
I don't even understand the appeal of mechanicals. The feedback is sort of nice, but they really don't feel that great imo.

It's shit. The mouse has all kinds of problems a lot of the time. If you're a total poorfag who has to have backlighting I guess it's okay, but otherwise just get a e3lue cobra, a k120, and put more money into the parts of your build that matter

i got the black ones from max keyboard. perhaps i should get some thinner ones. i thought they were the thinner ones but if i'm wrong then i bet i would enjoy the thinner ones more. i just want them for the softness, not the reduced key travel.

i got a key tester from max kb and i took an o ring i found that came with it and tried it so i think its the same as the ones you have. i hope the reds from cherry are just as soft.

Seconding this, minus the mouse. The mouse is shit, but the keyboard is seriously great. It's clicky and impressively tactile for a membrane. Definitely worth the $25 for the keyboard alone
