Lets take a break from your daily scheduled inane weeb desktop thread to share what many of you may have already known but I did not: There is a USB/eSATA hybrid port.
I accidentally plugged my flashdrive in to my esata port and started using it before I realized it was in the "wrong port". Try it Fucking BTFO.
This is so 2007
Did eSATA ever take off?

...There are people who don't know about this?
>>51672236
no shit. pretty much every laptop has this.

I didn't know about it when I was in high school. I had a shitty Dell Inspiron with one of these ports and didn't know what it was until long after I graduated. It was a sort of guilty feeling. That is, until I realized that I had never seen a drive with one of these fucking plugs on it.

Should have both logos next to the port. I know ThinkPads with the combo port do.
If I recall there are even some powered eSATA ports that have a 12V power rail.

I know it but I've never seen it before.
I used to use Esata, but then I got USB3.0 for compatibility.

That can be kind of dangerous if you unknowingly use it to charge a USB device, that by standard can only be charged at 5V.

I believe it's different pin locations that aren't used by USB.
Buncha hidden keyboard shortcuts in windows. Pretty much anything useful. WinKey+R for a run dialog, Alt+Up to go up a level in explorer, while renaming a file, press TAB and you'll now be renaming the next one in the list.
It's aight.
