T500. Got it free from a pile of stuff my friend's office was throwing out. No supervisor password or anything, they just took the hard drive out. No idea why they junked it, it's in good shape and it runs perfectly

I don't use a laptop anymore. I have an old Acer 5739G that is now serving as a HTPC. Surprisingly enough, it's in perfect working condition despite the brand and being like 6 years old. Does a good job with Kodi too, can even play back 10bit.
Acer CB3-111
Dell Inspiron 7537.

HP ENVY 17t-2100 3D w/ i7-2860QM, 16GB DDR3, 6850M @ 720MHz clock 1100MHz mem.
Plays GTA5 1080 120Hz @ ~30fps (80-85C). Not great, but not horrible for a 4 year old mid grade gaymen laptop.

I have an old as fuck gateway M-16 laptop.
What's the best laptop I could get in the UK for under £400? 1TB HDD and 8GB RAM ideally.
hey I'm thinking about buying a Dell Inspiron 3000 with ubuntu and install xubutnu. It has Intel Celeron 2,1GHz I think. Will be able to program in almost all the languages without any problem? I don't want it to play, just to program outside
Gigabyte x11. At the time it was released it was supposed to be a Macbook Air killer. Except, the battery life was shitter, it overheats like fuck and idles around the high 50s and hits mid 70s when installing software and the keyboard has an annoying bounce problem that ends up double spacing or repeating characters.
The only reason I haven't replaced it yet is I'm waiting for a retailer in the UK to sell a Clevo W33x with a decent CPU and screen. Currently either the screen is good and the chip shit, or the chip and screen is shit.
