Guys my CPU core temperature skyrockets when I watch videos and shit like that, but somehow my GPU temp stays cool. How do I fix this?
>>
Get a better cpu cooler.

Install gentoo

put your PC in the fridge

Or maybe clean out your cpu cooler, depending on how long it's been. I helped clean out a frienderinos pc yday and his idle temps dropped by about 30°c.

I cleaned last week. How much does replacing the thermal paste drop the heat?
>>
>>51656572
Makes sure your cpu cooler is clean, and that the fan is running.

Replace the thermal paste

Buy a new cpu cooler

Are you an amdrone? Amd is known for these types of problems. Try using your cards accleretation or somehing, so it will make easier for your cpu, or just buy intel

replace your cpu with your gpu.

Intel Ivy Bridge i3-3220

Its not cpu, must be some other problem

Depends on what you're already using, and what you change to. But if you're using a good cooler it can make a pretty solid difference. I personally recommend gelid gc extreme

I have the same issue when watching youtube videos.

My GPU is not used at all and it's always at 33-34c, while my CPU jumps around 40-50c.
>>
It's flash OP, just get used to it untill it dies.
>>
Gotta ask just in case OP has autism, but is your monitor plugged into the motherboard or the card?
>>
>>51656891
Both of my monitors are connected to my graphics card
>>
Make sure that if your MB has an aux CPU power connector, that it is connected.
