Also AB is seeming like a good option for starting out. Don't watch much anime but it's an easy tracker and you can get into WCD, PTP, and AHD. Not a bad start of it's hard to get elite on WCD for some people.

google, "site:yun.baidu.com *title here*", then "site:pan.baidu.com *title here*" if the first doesn't get you what you want. i believe you get only wap pages this way but you can just do some url surgery to fix that.
you have to have an account to download files over 500mb I think, there's guides online on how to register if you don't read chinese. you can download through your browser (sloooow) or use their download manager (faster but it sucks using a proprietary manager). if you use an actual download manager you have to screw around with wap links in order to get an actual dl link from baidu and not just one for their manager.
go wild, there's loads of neat stuff, i use it for cross-seeding sometimes

MiniSD usually muxes english subs in if they're available on the net. hong kong movies from the early 70s onwards in general often have english & chinese subs, i know HALFCD sometimes tag them as "SUBBED", "encnsubbed", "cnensubbed" and other similar stuff, but they generally don't include english subs even if they're available on the net, so you have to find them separately.
some movies, of course, just don't have subs. lots of mainland chinese movies don't. older taiwanese movies generally fare a bit better because they were released in hong kong so they have the english & chinese theatrical subs.
