Show me what you've got, /g/.
Pic related is the pleb tier shit I use, but I'm looking to get something nice soon.
there's literally nothing wrong with zebra
they're fine
i've bought pencils that cost multiple times more than that thing and I still write with my trusty zebra
>>51633831
This desu.
Had a Zebra (can't remember the model) made of black plastic and with a circular piece that indicated the type of graphite (HB and so on) and it was just fine. Using pic related (0.3mm and 0.5mm), best mechanical pencil available on my shitty country.
>>51633783
>buy pic related
>never require a new pencil ever again
the crank sharpener is pretty much a mandatory accessory, however - that is unless you like getting graphite smears all over your everything
>>51633942
>buy mechanical pencil
>you still have to sharpen it
i bet you use a straight razor
>>51633955
No, I use a pocket knife
>>51633990
confirmed for retarded
>>51633917
It was this one, strong and cheap as fuck. Got stolen and never found one again.
>>51633942
>>51633955
A friend of mine lend my his Caran d'Ache mechanical pencil with a similar graphite. Seem stupid but it's very comfy (more than a 0.3mm) to use. Cons is that I always get my hand dirty and graphite's less common than 0.5mm HB.
>>51634008
Git gud, fag
>>51633783
Pic related, it has served me well. No complaints, 0.9mm.
>mechanical pencils are tech
Why do you have to state that in every pen threads? We don't say "phones are tech" in phone threads. Are pens really tech? Banned maDafaFAFAKKAAAAAALALALAL!!!
Dildos are technology, what do you stick in your pooper?
>>51633783
Big guys ww@
>>51633831
>>51634018
I love the cheap zebras, but my issue with them is that eventually the clip starts to bend out of shape. Last time I saw one of these threads, people posted a bunch of weeb pencils that did all sorts of shit like automatically rotating the lead and stuff.
>>51634657
Does 0.9 ever feel too thick? Do you need to be constantly aware of rotating the pencil to keep the point? I like 0.5 because I feel like the sharpness is irrelevant.
rotring 600 coming through

Not at all, I just write with the fucker and it works.
>>51636157
I wish I had a reason to buy it.
>>51636157
>he bought the real deal

0.9 mm Pentel Graphgear 1000
thicker lead just feels smoother then writing and sketching, also the heaviness and metalic shell really adds to the general feel
>>51633783
They told me pentel 205 is best for its price.
>he doesn't exclusively use the rotring 800
>>51635786
the lead rotating kuru togas are just a meme
if you're actually do any significant amount of writing the barrel play will just get in the way.
Plus, most people already subconsciously rotate the lead anyway.
>>51633783
I've used 0.5mm Papermate Clearpoint pencils for several years. I really like them.
superior in every way
>>51637622
>he doesn't own vintage Rotrings from the nineties
>>51639199
gayer in every way
>>51639218
>vintage
>not deprecated
>>51639186
I've been using these for over a decade.
Fuck.
>>51634141
Its like you not only want, but NEED your pencil to break in less than 4 words
>>51634141
What the fuck are you doing?!
PENTEL SHARP AUTOMATIC (or twist-erase III) OR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>>51639218
Where do you even get vintage rotrings? I hear people talking about them all the time, but never managed to find any.
>>51639311
You don't know much about mech pencils, do you?
>>51639524
Starts with an E.
What's a good mech pencil for someone who writes extremely hard?

>b-but senpai, you have to throw it away after you use all the lead desu
Getting emotionally involved with a fucking pencil is unhealthy.

Kuru Toga. Broke it a few years ago though and went back to wood.
>>51639624
this is my favorite pencil
>>51639624
Not gud for earth, so useless. I bet if you wanted enough you'll still find a way to replace the lead.
>>51634657
Twist erase is king. I have a 0.5 and 0.7.
Do NOT get this version though. GT a shit. Stick with the original.
>>51638053
Had it. Nice pencil.
>>51638128
Currently use this one, except .9mm (it's a mustard yellow color).
>2015
>pencils
Is this whole rotating lead thing just a meme?
>>51636157
rotring?
more like scrotring because cock
>>51633831
I've always had issues with zebra pens and pencils, they've all ended up leaking, or had a part break.
>>51643705
pretty sure it is
it just feels like a decent mechanical pencil now that i look back on it
ive been using a silver one for school work and it doesnt really 'feel' better and the barrel doesnt turn most of the time as i can see the lead getting a slant on it
thinking of getting a nice rotring to see how that feels
this zebra i got the other day is nice too. just bought a 402 off amazon to switch out the clicker so its all metal. may try out a space pen refill to see what thats like too

is that made of actual metal or just metal painted shit plastic like most pencils at this price range?
Why is it easier to handwrite with pencils instead of pens? Shit's not fair.
>>51644114
everything below the band in the middle is metal, top is plastic
I'm going to Taiwan and want to buy some nice pencils. Any recommendations?
I already have:
Metal kuru toga
Plastic kuru toga
Multiple alpha gels
Multiple Dr. Grips
anyone have/use a pen from karas kustoms?
i was thinking of getting the retrakt or the bolt from them but i wanted to see if anyone had tried them before
looks nice though
