>some people actually prefer pure touchscreen input over this sexiness
dunno if it was a smartphone or not.
not sure if symbian is considered a "smart" OS, but this baby
Galaxy Ace
Eat shit
Blackberry Curve 9300
Xperia Sola
Palm Treo
It was awesome and I'm positive it counted as one of the first smart phones. The whole thing about it was that it was a "business phone". Plus it had a sweet Brickbreaker game.

Yeah same. It was a terrible phone, but that slider mechanism was kind of great
>>51630733
the priv finally made sliders good again
>>51632196
Except it's a huge useless phablet with a crap OS
>>51630171
the best - this is what I use nowadays along with my S4 mini (when I'm not the on-call person in my team).
Motorola Droid X. Stock ROM was a massive piece of shit, it would reboot itself all the time and wouldn't stay turned off. Flashed Liberty ROM and it became the best phone I ever had until one day it just died and wouldn't turn back on.
touch pro
second best keyboard i ever used
>tfw you'll never have a smart phone with a good keyboard and maybe some placement for a d-pad simply because people are obsessed with thin phones
It feels so bad.

>I'm positive it counted as one of the first smart phones
You were about 10 years too late.
So many memories
>>51632256
priv has a pretty good keyboard, no dpad but it has a trackpad so its almost as useful
still makes emulators much more playable than with a regular touch screen though
Silver Samsung Android slider phone from Sprint. It was cash. Forgot the name.
>>51627589
a note 3 which i still use, before that i had a env2
>>51632327
If it wasn't a vertical keyboard, I'd be all over it.
>>51632327
>emulators
>vertical keyboard
pls
>>51632418
i only emulate gba so its perfect for that really
Nokia N900
WinMo was the shit
I remember going to the store asking for a smart phone that wasn't an iPhone back in 2009
>>51632514
I have a $20 phone that emulates GBA, why would one need a priv for that?
>>51632580
The point is you dont have to carry around a $20 phone along with your smart phone. But no one should be buying a priv just for emulators. It just happens to be a benefit from owning one.
Dankest
>>51632593
What prevents me from using my $20 phone as an EDC? What does Priv (or pretty much any current phone) offer over it except for bigger numbers?
>>51632737
You can use an outdated phone if you want, but that's not the point I'm trying to make.
>>51632756
He's trying to make himself feel better for being poor.
Galaxy S5.
>>51627619
This t.b.h it had a brilliant community, I actually was one of the ones who helped build it
>>51632756
Then what's your point? Vertical keyboard isn't much of a victory really
palm treo
i used to look up pixellated porn over GPRS and wank under my duvet
>>51632662
Hey man, I have one of these laying around and not being used... Any suggestions on what I can make with it? I was hoping to get a full Linux installed directly on the device and not getting it via the app... Any idea if that is possible? Any guides? Anything?
