Alright this baby is down to 700 on newegg. Does anybody have the dell 3440x1440? Do you like it? Should I fall for the 21:9 meme?
>pic related
Shit has been in my cart for the past couple of hours as I continue to mull over the purchase.
My biggest thing is wondering how ridiculous a 27" would look on top of it since I'm not really a fan of pic related's configuration.
The 60hz doesn't phase me as I've never experience the glory of anything higher.

Same boat. Sitting in my cart forever 5% off using Mobile brings it down to 700 on the nutsack

Just get a 4K screen or a regular 2560x1440 high refresh rate IPS monitor.
should have gotten it from dells website and gotten the $250 or whatever it was giftcard
the best deal by far has been the $700 with like $300 gift card

I have it, I love it, I traded 3 screens for it, I would never go back, I would suggest that you get a A01 and not A00 model, since bleeding is non-existend after 2 weeks of using, I would buy another one if I had the money. go buy it!

Will I be able to tell before I buy it?
>>51624062
I have it. I got it at that price. I had a 24" Dell on vertical and a 30" 2560x1600 on my desk before moving to this.
I don't regret it at all.
Just bought it. Can return it by Jan 31st if it doesn't suit you so there's that.

yes, on the backplate, also stop falling for these online photos of bleeding it's a lot less in front of you, not just a "bit" but more like 90% less.

Just wanted to add that I could push my monitor to 80Hz. Most can get them to 75Hz.

Speaking of which, U3415W's firmware is supposedly upgradeable. I don't know if it's possible to get FreeSync support at all. I thought that you don't need a special chip to do it.

"how"? I also have one. Never did such stuff

I use Custom Resolution Utility.
