Any US/CO anons want a nice, 1600x1200 75Hz CRT monitor? I just got 7 LG 995E CRT monitors for free, and I know where to get a lot more, so I can hook you up.

Recently got a crt, 75hz 1600x1200. It's amazing.
Only issue is when I set it to 1600x1200 75hz in nvidia control panel the display shrinks a bit, but it's fine at 70hz.
Is it the vga cable? that's what I'm suspecting.

Yeah, they can cause cancer, but you would have to sit on one for years to see any issue.
They are huge as fuck though.

Are there any (affordable) widescreen CRTs?
I know the Sony GDM-FW900 exists, but damn it's upwards of a thousand bucks.

Could be the VGA cable. It is an analog signal, so it can be affected by those things.

I don't know of any others beside the Sony, but it is really nice. One day I wish to find one in someones trash pile or something.
