Gaming on Linux these days is good enough for me. I don't remember the last time I had to boot into my Windows install.
The only thing I don't get to play are the shitty AAA releases from the large companies like Call of Duty or Fallout or whatever, but I never play those anyway.

Hexen added a bunch of new things to the gameplay like usable items, flight, looking up/down and was a massive back and forth dungeon crawl while Doom was much more kill everything until you find a key, then go back to those doors.
