I suppose this would be a good place to ask - is there some way to get rid of the taskbar calendar WITHOUT setting everything to small icons? I don't like shit cluttering up my taskbar. It seems so stupid there's no easy option to do this. I think the easiest way would be, hide the whole thing (date, clock and all) in the settings, then install a 3rd party replacement.
Anyone know of something like this? Pic related would sorta be what I'm looking for.

I am using tint2 and when I open several windows, the tasks stay on the left of the panel, and their width is divided as the number of opened widows grows.
I want to use all / (or a wider) proportion of the panel before the dividing begins.

and
