My friend fucked up big time
My friend saved 1000€ for a gaming pc and of course wanted to buy his computer asap
I told him that he should buy the parts instead of a pre-built one and that I could help him with building it.
He wasn't really sure about that and told me that he wilh think about it.
I tried to talk to him about it everytime, because I didn't want him to fuck up his money for something that wasn't worth the price.
It has been like this for like a month. I even made a partlist for him.
3 hours ago he called me and told me to come, because he needs help.
I arrive and he tells me that he bought ordered a computer a week ago, because just wanted to play and apparently it "just works"
He told me he also bought it because it was 600€ instead of 1000€.
I expected the worst. Probably a gtx 720ti with an i3 cpu or some shit.
When I entered the room I saw a pc case there.
It's a level 10 super-tower vl30001n1z. He told me he couldn't even hear any fans spinning when pressing the power button.
I told him it isn't even plugged in (there aren't even any components in there)
I've left because I had to go to work and he told me that he's googling for a solution.

Aside from my friend being a bit retarded and naive. Can he go against the scammer?

Im not a German, but it clearly doesn't mention computer parts anywhere. You can try to get a refund through "gotcha! He didn't say it was case only 10 times!" bullshit, but still.

"Your friend" was stupid not scammed. As mentioned by another anon. Return it immediately and swallow a restocking fee as an expensive lesson. Other option is to try to resell it.
It's even there in the item description link. They will let you send it back for up to a month, twice the legal obligation.
Return it while you can or sell it. That's really all you should be able to do. Also tell your friend to just buy a console. That's what they're made for; stupid people.

No, he was not scammed. I'm assuming your friend can read, in which case he would have noticed that the advert only mentions the case, and makes no references to any other hardware or software at any point in the advert.
