You should use URxvt, and skin those system info things to use the same fonts and colors as your 4chan fonts. Your tab fonts are a bit too big and dont match much either. It has a lot of potential, I really like the red.

thanks. I've got a problem with classical music that I'm having trouble sorting out. So, in ncmpcpp, I either group by composer or performer in the music library. When grouping by composer, it's really dumb to have the composer's name in the album name, since it's redundant and wastes space. It would be better to have the performer(s)'s name(s) there (since I often have the same piece with many different recordings -- in that picture alone you can see 3 separate recordings of Shostakovich's preludes and fugues).
However, when grouping by performer, it's necessary to have the composer's name listed, or else I just see, "Piano Sonata No. 1", which isn't particularly useful. But in that case, I obviously wouldn't want the performer's name as it would be redundant.
I also can't figure out how to stop it from showing the year in the album area without just removing the year metadata from the music, which is less than ideal.
And, of course, I need a separate ncmpcpp conf for my classical library and my pop library

Ncmpcpp is pretty bad a tag handling, and it's config is pretty annoying as well. You could try using a different player for your two libraries, cmus is pretty nice, and you can select what directories are added rather than having a single music directory that you update with mpd. Good luck.
