First one was a Sagem 939 which I really wanted because of that cool flap but it CONSTANTLY broke and was rubbish after a year when the warranty was over.

10 years ago I bought one of these after one whole summer of underpaid job
I miss old phones.
Most of them were semi-unique, so it was cool to see other people's phones - both externally and in terms of user interface.
Now they're all identical. Infinitely more functional but infinitely less interesting because since I've used both iOS and Android, I've seen it all.
Solid phone, but my favorite from pre-adolescent years is the Sidekick, man was that phone popular. It was the iPhone before the iPhone.

Anyway, you could compose your own melodies, it had a vibration motor which was loud as fuck, it had voice recognition, which was interesting, but no games whatsoever.

Have you tried typing in landscape on any of the recent flagships? It's a hard stretch to reach the middle of the keyboard with either thumb. They would have to split the keys and put them off to either side. There would be a blank space in the middle but at least it could contain a track pad since Android actually supports a mouse.
