I tried them in a store once. Pretty warm and balanced sound with crisp, clear highs and smooth, rounded lows. Pic related: me pretending to know what I'm talking about
They are okay. If you don't have a good amp, the bass gets really flabby and boosted. If you aren't sure about the quality of your source, the shp9500 is a safer bet.

They're great. For sub 100 they destroy anything else that would dare compete with it. They don't need an amp.
