Why is this allowed?
>it's an actual as for Firefox
Did you want a serious answer or just green meme arrows?

wtf? No way this is real

It's real. I was going to watch an episode of the Simpsons on some shitty free cartoon hosting site, and it popped up.
The countdown actually worked and it had a prompt warning me to not close it or I'd damage my phone. It was pretty amazing.
I saw it on this page:

>Simpsons
It's your brain that's damaged, not your phone.

Just follow the instructions.
I don't know what that button forwards you to, but I'd initially bet that it isn't the legit Firefox apk.
Could be wrong, though. The Android ecosystem is shit that way.

I don't even know what are you even complaining about. do realize that all those 'free episodes' site are bundled with ads, just like those porn sites?

I don't care man, I was watching it with a friend.
I just thought /g/ would find it amusing to see this ad and that it was apparently for Firefox, especially considering the direction it's been going down lately.

Yeah I kinda wanted to press it but didn't feel like potentially compromising my phone. I should have gotten the full web address, though.

I'm not complaining about the ads, I know they're on those sites. I was more amused by the fact it was using Google's logo with a Firefox graphic, as well as the claim I've got viruses from visiting adult porn sites. The punchline was the whole install Firefox thing.
If your on your phone why the hell aren't you just using showbox to watch free tv

Never heard of it before. Generally I prefer to watch stuff in MX player but last night just wanted to watch that particular episode quickly with my friend.
Is Showbox good?
