Hey /g/uys.
Was wondering if anyone had a good source for learning BASH scripting.

I already know some basic things, but I'm looking for a good book or possibly a website that is capable of excelling my knowledge in BASH.

Bash specifically, or shell scripting in general?

Scripting in general would be nice.

This book is supposed to be very good. I have it on my shelf and plan on reading it over the winter break. Note that it covers shell scripting in general, which means that while everything should work in Bash, you'll miss out on some Bash specific things like brace expansion.

Also, if you just want to learn more about the Linux command line in general, I would recommend this book.

On Udemy there is a course called "Linux boot camp" that does a great job at teaching Bash / Shell. Plus It's like $10
