Boot time is very noticeable, load time on programs improved as well.
Noticeable compared to a Green, hell I noticed the difference from Blues.
Depends on the NAND type - but generally they last quite a while if you get a reliable one.
Difference to HDDs is that they have no moving parts, but once they die, they just die - not like a lot of HDDs where they grind to a halt and you notice it.
Also, don't fucking defrag them.

Does someone have a chart or tier list of ssd's available in the market in terms of different categories. The categories are like speed, reliability and perfomance and then all of those combined for a best.

Greens are good for long term storage breg, it even says on the WD website they make shitty OS disks. From the platters to the arms to the controller itself, the entire thing is designed for consumer storage. Blue or Black for OS. Red or Green for Storage.
There is a reason Greens are cheap.

Not really. The only real benefit I have seen was faster map loading in GTA V.
