Did you listen to these faggots and install Gentoo? There are hundreds of distros out there that will provide the user with a full working environment out of the box. They are all WAY less bloated than Windows. Install media will download faster, install process will complete faster. Fetching/installing programs,. one by one, whether from HDD, optical media or the Internet takes way longer than entering a single command and letting a package manager do its magic. Myth busted.
