I just bought a 640 for black friday and i like it but the app selection sucks. Also poor lastpass integration and no decent browser options.
I can return it but on the other hand I like it and I love it's battery life.

Just return it. I have an 820 that hasn't been touched in ages. I tried my best, but when I couldn't pay for parking or my train tickets because there wasn't an app available for WP, I switched back.

Everyone I know with a windows phone regrets their purchase. The no apps really hurts user experience and pretending it doesn't is delusional.
If you have no friends so social media (like Snapchat) is irrelevant so windows phones might be for you

I have plenty of friends and none of them use Snapchat. Sounds like you have shitty friends / are underage.
No apps can be an issue once a blue moon. The phones are great, but there's just really no reason not to get an android instead

I like my 640.
Last night I met a nice qt3.14, she wanted my phone number at the end of the night to stay in touch. She pulls out a Lumia 640 and asks me to type in my number.
Fucking lol'd when I saw one of my apps pinned on her start screen (an app to manage recurring tasks).
Feels based to be a WP dev, but even I have to admit, can't remember the last time I saw a WP device in the wild.

I like this no-memed no-biased review.
Used to have 620 and only complaint I has was music app sucked. Otherwise very good battery, smooth and decent screen framing. Had all apps I needed except for a torrent dlder.
I think the best aspect and what I miss the most is Clear Black screen. I could be at a sunny outdoor day and I had absolutely no problem reading my screen, something that bothers me with every successful phone.

Pros
>Clear Black screen
>good ram management
>smooth transitions
>remarkable battery life
>easy contacts management for multiple accounts
>camera did a really good job, I actually was impressed
Cons
>meme apps for audio/video playback
>now screen feels a little small
>only 8gb internal (microSD slot anyway)
>music app was utter shit
I would have another WP for sure.
