Kobo HD outside of house.
BenQ GW2765HT 27" 2560 x 1440 IPS in portrait mode at home.
As far as software goes. For PDF i use PDF-XChange Viewer.
But if anyone has a better alternative, do tell me.

Kobo has shit build quality and bricks itself if you look at it the wrong way.
Kindle has oppressive Amazon DRM, poor compatibility and might be impossible to jailbreak depending on which firmware version it ships with.
There are no other options for e-readers if you live in the US because the market for them is tiny since they can't be used for social media garbage.
