I want to start learning adobe software - photoshop, illustrator, etc. Problem is, I'm a poorfag and my computer only has like 10 gig of free space after deleting all non-essential shit. How should I go about getting my hands on the programs?

Adobe shit's expensive as fuck, or you can pay by the month

is that really the only way? i thought their programs are bigger than 10gig

I don't know how big the current ones are, I haven't upgraded them in a few years. But if you just have 10 GB free, you should probably either delete more stuff or buy another drive. You should keep a bit of space free since performance goes WAY down as you approach 0.

no money.... im guessing im going to need to drive to the nearest public library that has the software installed on their computers.. which is like an hour away

How large is your hard disk, and is there really nothing you can stand to delete? Anime, TV, movies and porn can all be re-downloaded later when needed again if space is short.

trial downloads (can be activated. find them yourself)

you still need to have/create a adobe user account to access the downloads.

isn't CS2 free now, or something?

the basics havent changed since cs2

Why don't you learn the program under better circumstances when you aren't a poorfag?

What's the rush?
>>
>>51449047
not him but maybe he's trying to learn new skills because his current job isn't cutting it
>>
>>51449044
Well if that's the case now, that would be a better option for him. They'll be smaller too and might fit in his puny 10 GB.

>>51449047
Knowing the program might help him become less of a poorfag.
>>
Why do you have a 64 gb hdd

Not unless his circumstances are incredibly specific. I mean, everyone and their mom knows how to use Photoshop these days. It's like putting MS Office down as a merit.

And his his interests are purely creative then there are many free alternatives to Adobe produces that will allow him to continue his projects. At least until he sorts his stuff out.

How to use it is different from how to use it well. People will still pay someone who can do good photo editing or logo design.

Also note, being good at a graphics program won't make you good at designing things, and vise versa.

>many free alternatives to Adobe produces that will allow him to continue his projects
If he pursues this as a career path, he'll want to learn the Adobe tools sometime. While a lot carries over from, say, GIMP to Photoshop, it's still a new program to learn. Moving from CS2 to CS6 will be easier and more natural than moving from GIMP to Photoshop. Why add another learning curve, however small, if as the other guy said CS2 is free?

>How to use it is different from how to use it well. People will still pay someone who can do good photo editing or logo design.

True. But it's an incredibly competitive field and to get to that point you need years and years of experience and a ridiculous portfolio that probably won't even fit on his computer.

>If he pursues this as a career path, he'll want to learn the Adobe tools sometime.
And he can do it when he can actually afford to spend like 50 bucks on a HDD.

Though if CS2 is free than that is better off than using Gimp. But he also said stuff like Illustrator and Adobe products in general.

I just don't get the need for the urgency. It's like wanted to lean how to drive when you can afford a car or drivers license. Get a job at McDonalds or something until you can.

New Adobe software is bloated shit and botnet.

Use something else.
