Dota 2 is easier than League and requires less skill. I played Dota 1 on Warcraft 3 and mastered every hero, those were fun times where we didn't worry about stats and collecting points, just focus on raping each other with crazy meta builds.
Dota 2 is not the same game anymore. Further, there are caps on damage and spell synergies that restrict creativity in the game.
League with its summoner spells and diverse skill variety actuall requires skill and quick reaction when you are in 5v5 combat.
