Hi /g/

I'm kind of a newbie in electronics and I'm currently working on a project for college. We're making an IOT and we first have to do the schematics and board on Eagle. I was wonderring if anyone here knew about the program, had some tips to give and good places to find libraries.

Can we make this into a general electronics tips/discussion thread ?

Altium Designer is more advanced and user friendly compared to Eagle. If you're college is making you use Eagle, it might be a shit college.

OP, don't come here for electronics knowledge, this board is only for desktop threads and battlestations.

Go to a better place.

Yeah the teacher doesn't let us use an alternative so we're forced to use eagle. The program really seems complicated for nothing. But I need to get into it. But this school isn't really shit though it's got one of the best IT sections in all Belgium. We just have some autistic teachers

What's a good place to ask, then ?

Eagle follows german engineering principles, which might not be something you can comprehend. Why don't you just shut the fuck up about things you don't understand?

You seem to know some things about it, do you have any tips for beginners or good soucres to get libraries ?

Eagle is a breeze once you get used to it

Sparkfun has eagle footprints for each one of their parts. Pretty handy if you're buying from them.
