anyone else's gpu run this hot at idle?
>>51408579
kill yourself
>>51408579
sometime mine does
It's trying to overheat itself to death, it can't stand being attached to 2 shitty 1080p TVs.
Im sure the cpu is much warmer than speccy reports
>>51408579
really quite horrible temps I have, but it's been like this for a couple of years so not too worried
only like 80c while playing cs:go :^)
>>51408579

REEEEEE
FUCK OFF NORMIE
I IDLE AT 55degC AND GET TO 95 PLAYING FALLSHIT: JEW VEGAS ON MINIMUM
>>51409284
take a chill pill dude
haha get it
>>51408579
Yes
>>51408579
why... that'd be weird that 2 R9 390s can sit at about that temp and do even better than the 980 Ti...
NVIDIA HOUSE FIRES!
Should i buy this /g/?
With ssd will cost 532 euros
Not playing games btw
What the fuck is wrong with people and their g-cards to say it's hot when it's that cold?
my phone gets up to fucking 80°C and lives.
my laptop has a gtx850m that gets to 90°C and also no problems except suspiciously hot tables.
Where there is electricity there will be heat.
So if your gpu is cold it's barely doing anything.
Is your fan curve set to auto?
MSI I believe doesn't kick their fans on until 60°C

Autism.

>>51411594
why so much storage senpai
>>51413086
why not, better to have it and not need it than to have to need it and not have it.
next build is gonna be jewvidia/shilltel
>>51413119
Kek wrong shot
>>51408579
my GPU fans don't turn on until 62c
>>51413014
Just means he'll be able to max out everything he throws at it, nothing wrong with that.
I'm defending this because I do the same thing with the same hardware, though.
>>51413131
whoops
>my GPU fans don't turn on until 62c
>>51408579
Yes, it's normal.
Also,
>980Ti
>1080p 60Hz
What the fuck are you doing?
Not at all. Look into a custom fan profile if you're worried about idle temps (even though you have no reason to be). I run these temps at native 4k idle.

fuckin horrific
download speccy
>>51413151
school computer, have no admin rights...
huh...
Idle temps with a budget case and a room with a space heater
>>51413145
what do you do with this amount of space
>>51413165
Oh shit forgot pic
>>51413169
What do you do without this much space? There are so many things out there just waiting to get get archived. I'm building a 28TB NAS before I get absolutely BTFO by huge SSDs pretty soon.
>>51413207
I don't have any reason for that kind of space, yet. As my career develops I feel like it will change. Is there a reason for a 28TB NAS? Or just interested in creating a huge storage system? Either is pretty neat to me.

>>51413164
whats wrong with my mobo
>>51413255
seem them temps? its blzing fgt
>>51408579
I wish desu senpai. My MSI 780's idle fan speed is ~1050RPM and audible. I'd take an extra 20 degrees to be able to turn the fans off at idle.
>>51413340
>Windows 10
My MSI 380 doesn't use fans until 62 lol, should I change this I wonder..?
>>51413235
>Is there a reason for a 28TB NAS

I want a huge storage system of my already backed up files and redundancy, the network features are a plus. If you like something, then take it. Streaming is alright, but hording is the best.
I'm just waiting for a flash storage revolution and finally get rid of my magnetic spinning disks of doom. DNA storage isn't coming any minute now, but Toshiba and others are pushing higher capacity drives.
>>51413366
This sounds intriguing. I appreciate the insight. I too am excited for SSDs to blow up
GPU idle generally lives in mid-high 40s at the moment. Not sure about indoor ambient temp but it's 11C outside and I don't use heating..

Kill yourself
>>51413439
Why would you run heating when you already have the space heater that is your speccy?
>>51413858
>12gb in total
>>51413858
That's not how Xfire / SLI works smart one.
>>51413896
It's still friggin' cold is why.
>>51408579
mine does
>inb4 taking a picture of the monitor
was eyefinity/triple monitor setup just a meme all along? speccy threads used to be full of triple monitor setups
gonna upgrade to to an i5-6600k in the next month.
also the gtx 980ti has 6 gigs of ram, not sure what's happening there.
>>51414268
>taking a picture of the monitor

LMAO
41C~49C is Okay for a GPU
and its normal okay anon.
My GPU fans don't kick in until 54C at anyrate
