a day has 24 hours, a 24 hour clock goes to 23:59 and starts at 0:00, a 12 hr clock goes to 12:59 and then starts from 1:00
12 hr is how you'd count usually
24 hr is how you'd count with a computer (from 0)

You're right, they've always done this.
But what makes memefrogs different? The difference is that we didn't immediately drop the meme after it got adopted by normies.
In the past this behaviour allowed a constant refreshing of content- memes were developed, got funny, and then were dropped as they got stale and adopted by normies.
But now we have a circular system where normies come here posting old-ass memes and it's just what happens now.
Stop using the facebook frog. If normies use a meme it's dead.
Although because of places like reddit and the normisation of the internet through smartphones and other low-IQ devices, the speed at which memes get stolen by normies has increased significantly.
I think with facebook frog we hit the point where normies were adopting memes faster than they were being created.
