Cost me $50 but it's dodgy. I still consider it worth it just for the cooler though, it's a windforce cooler like the normal 670, but about 2cm longer, a little taller, and takes up 3 pcie lanes instead of 2. It's a beasty cooler.

Honestly, I only really debug vidya, and do cheats most of the time. I'll grab a 3DS game executable, throw it in IDA, and give myself a few hours to see if I can make it do something silly. Backtrace from string calls until I find something nice. Same thing with PC games and applications, but with CE, I can view memory and assembly on-the-fly and modify it as much as I want.
Cracking software? Everything's already cracked, and I don't buy anything that people would want cracked. :/

I know I'm picking up an Asus MG279Q on Black Friday/Cyber Monday, but I want a second display to match that in size and resolution and I'm still undecided on what to do there. I bought the computer, keyboard and monitor for £80.
The dot matrix printer set me back £40, as did the glass IBM paper stand its sat on, £15 for its 3COM Etherlink III card, £60 for its ATI VGA Wonder card, £30 for its Soundblaster card, £30 for its Logitech Series II serial mouse, at least £40 in DRAM chips to populate its Intel Aboveboard to 2meg.
Its got internet access, the ability to run EGA/CGA and VGA programs and still work with a monochrome monitor and mouse input if I need it.
I need to do something about the storage issues though, its only got a 20MB Seagate ST225 in there right now.

The table tops are hollow core, at least the linnmon ones but I have my 80lbs. CRT on one of them without sagging so I wouldn't be tooo worried about it. Two or three LCDs won't be a problem at all. If you're really worried about the hollow core though you could always do what >>51356197 did and get a counter top or look into solid wood tabletops.

honestly I think most of my back issues come from motorcycles and the cars I drive. I drive shitboxes I love to death but they're extremely uncomfortable and ride very rough. Then motorcycles I exclusively mostly rode crotch rockets for a few years until my back started hurting now I've been riding supermotos which have way better riding positions but I'm off road a lot and the ride is rough and I've had quite a few non-serious wrecks that I think have been adding up.

I ran into a rock (side of a mountain more like it) at 55mph in a minivan... just haven't been the same since... and it was like 6 years back almost now. Man do I wish I had a comfy chair to sit in at the moment. (Metal folding chairs... nope... not good at all...)

Yeah I finally started going to a chiropractor a few weeks ago. Been there 3 times and it basically just reinforced my belief that they're a joke. Going to try to fix it myself before I do anything big like see an orthopedic surgeon.
Just in constant upper and lower pains. The non serious wrecks were all motorcycle - mostly just offroading stuff that i picked the bike up and kept riding on but I think they've just added up.
Right now I'm living on icy hot, heating pads, and ice packs. I can't stand to sit in the chair in my picture above without a pillow behind me for more than 15-20 minutes.

Yeah, I always put a pillow behind my lower back, it helps a bit... had something once that was like a memory foam pad shaped accordingly, almost made any chair comfortable.

So I've pre-ordered a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (Core m3) and I'm thinking about buying a Surface Dock and a monitor (maybe two) and keyboard/mouse and stuff. It's so I can come home from college and then do my essays or whatever on a more comfortably sized keyboard and monitor at a more ergonomic height etc.
Would that work? Is the processor powerful enough to power two other monitors? Does that count as a battlestation?
Also where do you buy your monitors? What are some /g/ approved sites?
