What about the Crysis team?
Crysis 4 wasn't -terrible- on optimization but it was still far from good. Crysis 1 and 2 required a fucking supercomputer (3-way SLI, more than 3x the "normal" amount of RAM) to get a measly 30fps. Crysis 2 was completely unplayable on even an enthusiast-tier PC for nearly 2 years after launch.

never played Crysis 4, but 1 was a marvel of optimization. I played it on 800x600 all low on a low end c2d and 1gb of ram (can't remember what card, it was equally shit though). game ran. didn't look pretty, but it ran smoothly (I can only guess 40-60fps).

can easily call bullshit on Crysis 2 too, sure you couldn't max it but you could get 45-60fps on low settings on a e6400, 4gb of ram and an nvidia gtx430. tried and tested.
The benchmarks are a scam as PC version fps is caped at 48. If you uncap it by modifying game files, the whole game gets buggy, physics are tied to fps so world gets messed up ,you run to fast get stuck at terminals, lock picks insta break ect. Fallout 4 is a shitty console port.
