it's a marketing thing, there's two definitions for both
2k consumer = 1920x1080 (yea, yet another name for "fullhd", "1080p")
2k cinema = 2048x1080
4k consumer = 3840x2160
4k cinema = 4096x2160

Not OP. I just got a 980 ti hybrid but I need a monitor for my gaymes since my 51 inch 1080 tv isn't going to cut it. Any good 1440P, 80+ Hz capable monitors out there for less than 350usd? If it shares a panel with a gsync monitor would be great too.

Gonna RMA it for dead pixels that appeared month ago.
Imput lag is quite bad compared to a 1080p 60hz TN but not as bad as a TV.
