Ups and fedex are great, with ups you can pick up your package if it required a signature and you missed it. Just go to their warehouse when they unload the trucks. Shit's pretty cool.
I work on weekends so I place my orders on weekends and they get there before friday, as the pre-shipping phase usually takes a day or 2 anyway and it's automated.

Delivery fulfillment by Amazon, since the partnership with USPS, has be atrocious. It's been so bad for some people that they've threatened to, or cancelled their prime.
If I select 1 day and pay $30 for that shipping, it better fucking be at my door in 24 hours.

Califag here. I hate tax but the fast shipping is worth it. Phones cases on eBay cost $5 with taxes and shipping and arrive in 3 days, usually 2. Newegg uses Ontrac which is even faster. I must be lucky because none of the west coast shipping services like Ontrac and GSO have ever lost my packages.

I usually order my stuff through newegg when possible. I live maybe a few hours drive from their east coast facility in Edison. I always get their super saver 3 day shipping and usually get it in 1 day. Sometime same day.
