I purchased Fallout 4 early and have preloaded it and learning that the game releases early in NZ/AU. Question is, has anyone been banned for accessing a game early with a vpn after buying the game w/o a vpn? Well painted and God Bless.

Valve are no different to Apple or the nsa when it comes to controlling the way people use their service. You will lose everything.
If you don't believe me then go ahead and try and play Fallout 2 days earlier than the rest.

also you dont need vpn just change download from steam download options to new zealand and it starts downloading the game

Because everyone has a static IP.... right.
Decrypted two games so far with VPN, no consequences. Just stay offline until it's released in your timezone and you'll be fine.
