It's not that I exclusively prefer (specifically) old aesthetics; I do really like classic and functional environments that are traditional and familiar though. recently, I have coupled my love of bitmaps/aliasing/tiles to my love of problem solving and deduction in order to do things that are unlikely or don't seem possible at first. I actually have more side projects right now than I can deal with. I'm desperately looking forward to Christmas time as I'll have some actual down time for once.
It's not so much the result that is contained within the process. But I think it's apparent that throughout my years of customization I haven't just been stuck on re-creating a ``retro" look. That is just my current style that will most likely change in the future (but not in the immediate future, as my current workspace is super functional).

anyway, five hours is enough, if it's one day. i'll feel like shit a bit but i'll feel a lot of other things as well. it's like if i'm not rested enough, i'm still a tiny bit asleep and my thought patterns are a bit rustled which could be interesting.
when i want to fall asleep again i take a quick stroll outside, or just stand on the balcony for a few minutes, to get cold and gloomy from the night. then some hot milk/chamomile tea, a wank, and back to sleep.
