Whats the point when 4K content is around the corner ?
Unless you plan on tossing out your display in 2-3 years you might end up missing out on 4K content when it comes out.
and even if your video card can't handle 4K scaling from 1080 works just fine.
This is akin to buyin some riced up 720p monitor when 1080p is about to arrive on the scene.
