Is Firefox 40 the last good version?
I'm still really pissed off they removed browser.newtab.url in 41, and 38 ESR is no good because it doesn't support Youtube HTML5.

Use an add-on.

No, firefox 3.6 was the last good version. Install Palemoon.

Weren't you already able to enable MSE in about:config in 38?
Otherwise use mpv.

if you're gonna meme, meme like the pros and stick with 28 :^)

42 is fine with the right tweaks
don't fall for the palemoon/cyberfox/whatever meme, the forks are all outdated and shit

Sure it does, retard. I use SeaMonkey, which uses the same version of Gecko as Firefox 38, and Youtube works just fine.

What's wrong with the new tab firefox already has? Is pretty customizable and opens instantly. If you want to change it there are like 3 add-ons for it, including the tab mix plus.
The best Firefox is the updated Firefox. The developer edition, right now, is super fast and smooth. I really recommend it.

Eh, I went with Iridium, Firefox isn't that much friendlier on the RAM so no reason to keep it. Nightly gives me annoying 1-2 second freezes when loading pages, can't stand that shit.
>>51233012
Just set browser.newtabpage.enabled and browser.newtabpage.enhanced to false
Just use icecat or vivaldi
Firefox is riddn with bullshit
geo.enabled = false
loop.enabled = false
browser.pocket.enable = false
media.navigator.enabled = false
media.peerconnection.enabled = false
Also get Classic Theme Restore and it will be exactly like the old versions.

Only if you're goy enough to believe not enabled = doesn't spy on you.
>>51234882
Prove that it continues to spy on you when you disable it

Prove it doesn't.

22 was the last "good" version of the 4.0+ series. 3.6 is still the best.
>>51233012
just palemoon faggot. Now get out.
>>51234986
I win.
>>51233012
What the fuck are you talking about?
3.6 was the last good version.
No browse-by-name on by default, no Firefox.

You should leave it alone until Mozilla enables it by default like they did with recent Firefox versions.
