You're right, hearing loss isn't that bad as you can use hearing aids. But the tinnitus that comes with it is.
I got tinnitus from drugs, but if loud music can cause it, save yourself and don't listen to it.

People with tinnitus are people who would otherwise be having seizures every day. The tinnitus is an annoyance, but it's an annoyance that is easily managed. The greater suicide rate comes from other underlying mental issues that result from brain anomalies.

It's not dissimilar to people who have facial tics. It's annoying when a side of your face twitches several times a minute, but it becomes the norm.

I have 24/7 tinnitus and I'm legally deaf because of it. I wear a hearing aid so I can understand what people actually say.
