Under $4 to burn, silkscreen and mail a disc doesn't sound like the most unreasonable thing I ever heard.
In particular I bet that was brisk business back when ISOs were 700mb and modems were 56k

Not really bad at all for a dedicated piece of install media I can store away and not have to worry about having to redownload an ISO when it inevitably gets lost on one of my many systems.
