My good old Corsair HX620 PSU that I bought 7 years ago finally bit the dust.
What's a good replacement? I'm eyeing two different PSUs which are the same price from where I'm looking to buy.
Corsair AX760, this one is made by Seasonic with double ball bearing fans. It's a couple years old. Read somewhere that it's just a rebranded SeaSonic SS-760XPII but don't know if that's true.
or
Corsair HX850i. Made by CWT. It's a newer design, and got some Fluid Dynamic Bearing bearing fans. Also some kind of digital link gimmick or something.
If you've got anything better, feel free to shitpost about how bad my choices are and offer your alternative.
I've had really good luck with EVGA power supplies, have you looked into any of their offerings?
evga supernova 850 g2 is awesome

Not too much, I heard EVGA were really good for like cheap gaming rigs, but that you wanted something from Corsair or Seasonic if you were going for something a bit more premium. Correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm totally fucking out of the loop with this shit.
>suddenly I'm worried about my HX520
Also what kind of system do you have? Why do you need 700+ watts?

>Also what kind of system do you have?
Cuo 2 Quad, gotta upgrade sometime this century
>Why do you need 700+ watts?
Just the flexibility to shove in any housefire of my choice when I do finally upgrade
IMO your pretty safe buying anything made by Seasonic.
>I'm using an HX620 bought around 7 years ago
Corsair RMi RMx and HXi, Auperflower Leadex, Seasonic X and P and EVGA Gs and G2 are all top draw.
OP here, my PSU randomly came back to life. What the fuck? What was going on there?
