Planning on buying a sony xperia z1 compact. What are your thoughts about the phone?

Neat.
Lower performance with the superior auto mode 'cause aggressive post-processing and compression, glorious autonomy. Everything else is fine. Keep an eye on slots, under heavy and continued stess garnets could be an hassle.
Also, you might want a bumper. Z1/Z1c are fuckin' tough.

it gets hot and its not really that fast. camera is great though.
ive jade one since last april
Had one for almost two years and still love it. Almost considering buying another one because they're so cheap and perfect for my everyday use. The notification bar beneath the speaker is awesome. Have dropped it multiple times and never had a case on it, never cracked a screen or had any dramas with it.
Using it now to post this.
Screen scratch easily, the screen color is washed out, kinda heavy for its size, bad viewing angle, mediocre camera, uglyass sony skin. Still like it though, might not upgrade till next year.
Z2 is superior

Nah its almost the same
The camera is horrendous especially during low light, but other than that it's fine.
