Just picked up a new 5960x last night from amazon for $805 shipped, getting a 5% cash back from my credit card should lower the total cost to $764. I ended up picking it up because a nigger seller from ebay still wouldn't ship the 5930k that I won last week for $400, and the fucker won't even reply to my mail so I have to file a dispute on ebay.

How much did that whole build cost you and how fast of a ram would you recommend?
I'm trying to make this build + the 2 980ti I already have under 2k. So far I've spent $1614 for the cpu and the 2 cards. Gonna bargain hunt the mobo and the ram and I should be able to recycle my ax860 watts psu, noctua nh-d14 and my ft02 case.
