Apparently it's called "thermoplastic elastomer", it feels like rubber you'd find on a hammer grip but much softer. It was popular on a lot of phones and I've only ever seen it on those chromebooks when it comes to PCs. I like it a lot.

Do you have much work experience in the networking field? If so then you could couple that with your certifications and try to apply for larger corporations. The company I work for is very very small, at the time of that video we were just 4 people. If you actually had the case you'll know those screws are only there for decoration (learned this the hard way).
To remove the front panel in that 300R you have to press the button below and push it hard. To remove the grill you just straighten those little grill things that hold it in place then stick it out.
