Is it still the best?
>>47617833
It never was to begin with. But I guess we can have a shitposting thread about it.
>>47617839
What would you suggest then?
>>47617833
If you're talking about ver 2.2.1 then yes.
>>47617833
The pro version is
That's why you pirate utorrent pro with utorrent.
>>47617976
lmao is that actually possible
>>47617833
Yes, and with the aid of the EpicScale bitcoin miner you know they are not going to be running out of money soon.
>>47617853
If you're on Windows: qBittorrent
If you're on GNU/Linux: Transmission, Deluge, rTorrent
>>47617989
yup

>>47618017
Downloading qBittorrent now
although the irony of using a pirated version of uTorrent Pro is also tempting
>>47617833
This has clearly passed into blatant shill territory
>>47617989
Yes it is.
>>47618110
is there a way to disable auto update?
>>47618072
Love it
No, picture related is.
IMO yeah it is. It does have some irritating ads but those can be removed via the settings. Also, uTorrent has the ability to download some files at a higher priority than others, as well as bandwidth. I haven't seen that feature yet in other clients.
Wasn't utorrent suppose to be light and just werk.
I think that back in the days you just had to extract it from the zip and it was ready to go.

>Also, uTorrent has the ability to download some files at a higher priority than others, as well as bandwidth. I haven't seen that feature yet in other clients.
qBitttorrent does that
>>47618284
yeah in preferences ---> general
>>47617944
This is the only correct answer
Yes. 2.2.1 is still the best.
>>47618456
it's all greyed out
>>47617833
not anymore
>>47618645
That's pretty much the same as it's always been. When they talked about improving the UI I thought they meant refreshing the entire thing, not just changing a couple of icons and calling it a day.
2.0.4 masterrace
>>47618645
They still have NOT released 3.2? Top kek fucking incompetent.

I think cell phones are moronic, but will admit those renders show a particularly sexy piece of hardware.
No it isn't you retards. The only people who claim some old deprecated version of uTorrent is still the best are retards living in the past.
Absolutely no reason to use any version of uTorrent over qbittorrent, rtorrent or transmission. You don't get a bitcoin miner with any of those either.
>>47617833
>Torrenting client
>Even remotely good
Pick one.
Fuck the haters, I use the portable version of the latest uTorrent with ads disabled on a usb stick, completely saturates my 100Mbps line just fine.
>>47618110
>Nederlandse top 40
pls ga
>>47618017
rtorrent is deprecated. if one wants a console solution with a webui, qbittorrent-nox should be used instead.
>>47620683
>using STALLEDtorrent
>>47617833
>Is it still the best?
>run adwcleaner
>install utorrent
>run adwcleaner again
if you make these steps you will figure out.

hmmmm
>>47621257
Look at the IP
>>47621244
I've used utorrent (2.whatever, pre-mpaa version) and have switched over to qtorrent and transmission, but I always got faster consistent download speeds using utorrent. What the fuck is happening?
It can't be a port forwarding thing because even when I follow the instructions that even utorrent has on their website and I match the numbers in my router and the program, it still says port not open. I swear I can't into networking for the life of me.

>>47621477
uTorrent is just better.
>>47618645
So how does that look on Windows?
