Budget: Around 150 PLN, that is less than 50 bucks
Source: Sansa Clip+
Isolation:Medium, I will used it only outdoors and public transportation
Type:IEMs
Preferred tonal balance: clear, and pure likely flat, I want to feel the track not dem bass
Past headphones:
Maxell Retro DJ - After some nice mods they were nice for me, but they are becoming a hurdle to wear for outdoors
Superlux HD668b - Noice headphones also, but only indoors
Others are shit, which I didn't care when I was buying
Preferred Music: http://www.lastfm.pl/user/anticitizenpl, very various that's why I enjoy balanced jacks of all trades, don't care for whic have most scrobble cause sometimes I have phases for some artists.

senn cx3.00 or xiaomi pistons. possibly the superlux iems
>>
>>47272292
First 2 are bass heavy for sure. I'd say soundmage e10s... They're suppose to be neutral. The old model cx300 ii is durable as hell and handles most anything well, but the stock tips do leave it bass heavy. Comply tips tone it down to more normal levels but it still isn't really flat.
>>
>>47272424
cx3.00s arent that bass heavy if you remove the tiny foam piece inside. smooths out the sound pretty well actually.
>>
>>47272424
soundmagik e10s goes over my budget, but e10 is in.
What are diffrences between e10s and e10?
>>
>>47272471
Are they really worth 2x the price of the 300 iis though? At least that's the difference in usd, which is crazy for a replacement model.
>>
>>47272536
Didn't even know there was an s model. Meant that as a pluralization. The normal model should work.
>>
What do you guys think about cx300-2 precision, in poland they are cheaper than stock cx300
>>
>>47272541
welp, didn't know the difference is THAT much down there. Here in Finland i bought them for like 5eur more than the cx300 iis. Wouldn't definitely pay 2X the price.
>>
So now I think about this two:
http://www.ceneo.pl/16245068

Also I am still open for new suggestions
>>
>>47272664
three of course
>>
Is an external DAC worth buying if I only listen to 320kbps mp3, or are they for lossless quality only?
>>
>>47272764
I'd say an external DAC is always worth it. You can't really go wrong with a behringer UCA 202 or 222.
>>

>>
>>47272664
It really depends on how much money that is for you. I can honestly say I treat my cx300s like shit and they just won't die. But for sound quality grab the e10. They probably won't last as long though. This is all assuming everything there is legit as well, which in Poland I have no idea. All 3 models there have tons of knock offs
>>
>>47272788
I thought people use those with instruments or mixers? I only need one with a headphone amp output.
Also they don't sell Behringer near my place, only things like FiiO or Topping.
>>
>>47272921
So I will rather by cx300s, cause they are more durable cause they will be treated harshly, probably if my Maxells were beats they would be dead as fuck

I need some comfortable earbuds. Preferably something cheap ($15 or less, cheaper is better) that I can buy multiple sets of as I tend to lose them. I mostly listen to 56kbps audiobooks so quality doesn't matter, only comfort. Bonus points if you can lie on your ear comfortably when wearing them.

Earphones guide doesn't mention comfort at all.

Got my Pioneer piezoelectrics in today. They had a short in the cord that the seller didn't share so I got a partial refund for that. I cleaned them up, slapped on a new set of ear pads and converted them to a detachable cable. The jack mount is drying now, and I'll have to leave it alone until tomorrow.

My first impressions are that they look cool, and the sound is pretty good. They take a shit ton of power to drive. The bass is a little lacking, not in presence but more like resolution. Nothing below 80hz sounds that sharp, but they're very smooth and open. Reminds me a lot of an open back AKG like a 701 or k7xx with less bass. We'll see if it gets any better with a new cable and more hours to limber them back up.

The old koss junkers continue to rule. Got a deal on some old flagship planars coming in late this week that I'll check out as well. Also might swap my ESP-6 drivers with some from an ESP-9 and see if it makes a lick of difference.

I love my sennheiser cx200s for their comfyness. They are also sort of indestructible, I've had them for over 3 years including at least 2 washing machine incidents.
The cx150 seems to be the same damn thing but cheaper. Sound quality is alright, but a bit 'warm' I guess? Don't expect any miracles, especially for high tones.
