There is usually a diagnostic switch on the inside of the keypad that can be accessed when the machine is opened to refill. Then the machine will accept codes to do whatever it is you want, but you're going to need physical access before you start "hacking" your snack machine. How about you just quit being poor.

Funny that I would see a thread like this today.
A vending machine at my uni did something funny today. I tried to do an NFC payment, and the machine started to hang, so I started mashing 'Cancel' and 'No', and it started spitting out its build number, version number, serial number, etc.
I was thinking of going back to check it out later, see if I could glean any useful information from it.
