I know it's not the same, but the XFCE screenshotter is being good enough for me. You can do focus window, full screen, and area selection. After taking the screnshot, it gives you the option to save to the PC, edit or upload to "zimagez". Thankfully, they're adding an option to upload to imgur on the next update.
Of course, you gotta use a XFCE DE.
