/g/, why are US carriers so behind the goddamn times? Every phone I've ever owned has gotten its software updates no less than 18 months after it came out everywhere else. Is it a monetary thing, or are they all just running on antiquated tech?
I can't answer that really, but are phones in the US really that seriously branded by the carriers?
