i have a ton of vintage hardware as well. i'd be interested to see what the market is like for this stuff, no so much for profiting, but to rehome them. throwing it away seems like such a waste.
personally i am interested in collecting unusual circuit boards and vintage ibm keyboards.
I am always hunting down a decent vintage IBM PC.
Mind that I am not made of money either.
When I was in my teens and 20s I had about 80 vintage computers, including a PS/2 portable like OP's picture. Tons of Apple stuff going back to 1978, and some really rare shit like a Sinclair QL and an Australian copy of a Commodore 64.
I sold them all around the time I decided to stop being a shutin about five years. The only real, serious money I got was from some of the rare Apple and Mac equipment. The rest was sort of meh, but some of my nicer stuff had died in storage so I couldn't get top dollar for it.
A lot of the equipment I sold in big lots of Craigslist to avoid the shipping nightmare. Pic related--one of many lots I sold.
