While I have people's attention, I have unrelated problems. My Toshiba 2TB external HD has 140+ errors (after a Seagate Tools Scan). Every program that wants to repair it freezes. I want to at least backup everything from it into my computer temporarily while I format it. But Windows isn't completing the process.
