Not true, it's javascript blocking is similar to noscript but better, you can whitelist based on domain and url, and can make it temporary

Webkit doesn’t have VP8 support. On OS X, installing the Perian QT plugin lets Webkit browsers play webms but I don’t know what linux people can do. I suspect that the VLC/gstreamer browser plugin might fix your issue, though.

Well, I got part of it to work; it doesn't seem to work in youtube embeds, though. On firefox, I liked being able to choose between mp4 and webm depending on my mood.
