How much does it matter at what times I eat my protein?

If I have 4 eggs for breakfast at 10 AM, but don't start working out still 2 PM, have I 'wasted' the protein in my breakfast?

pic unrelated

No.

Proteins are saved in your body for quite some time.

no need to worry about this, just eat good, sleep good and train hard.

thanks pal, I'll make sure I spread protein over my day then instead of trying to have like 80 grams right after my workout

thanks

broscience faggot, plenty of bodybuilders who stuff themselves on eggs and tuna without cholesterol or mercury poisoning

Protien synthesis occurs for up to 48-72 hours after training so as long as you have worked out in the last 48 hours you should be fine.

I'd be more worried about the utter lack of protein in your breakfast

>Given the capability of all tissues to synthesize sufficient amounts of cholesterol for their metabolic and structural needs, there is no evidence for a biological requirement for dietary cholesterol.
>It is thus recommended that saturated fatty acid, trans fatty acid, and cholesterol consumption be as low as possible while consuming a nutritionally adequate diet.

Adequate.
>320 kcal
Little, if anything. OP better eat some bananas too next time for carbs, fiber and micros.

The only "alarming" part is the dietary cholesterol (not really alarming because his liver will autoregulate and produce less of its own) and the saturated fats (not that bad for you though, it's the trans fats you should be avoiding)

Eggs are fine.
